Minister of Planning discusses with the United Nations and the Arab League ways to support development

The Minister of Planning, Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi, discussed with a delegation from the United Nations and another from the League of Arab States ways to enhance joint cooperation and unify all these efforts in support of the projects of recovery and stability of the country.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Planning said that Al-Dulaimi met with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) ESCWA, Rola Dashti.
"The meeting discussed the role of the Arab League in general and sustainable development in particular, the effective role of the United Nations programs in Iraq and ways to strengthen them to achieve the best services for citizens, and the importance of unifying all these efforts in support of projects of recovery and stability of Iraq."
Pointing out that "the meeting discussed the most important joint plans that can be worked in light of international memorandums of understanding that contribute to the benefit of all countries in the Arab region."
