Parliament decides to host the oil minister on exports of Kurdistan

Announced the decision of the Parliament Khadija Ali, on Thursday, the Parliament's decision to host the oil minister to investigate on oil exports from Kurdistan and hand over the region revenues to the central government.
"The presidency of the parliament decided to host Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban during the coming sessions," Ali said.
She added that "the Council will investigate with the Minister on oil exports from the Kurdistan region and the quantities and extent of the region's commitment to hand over its imports to Baghdad," noting that "the purpose of determining what is transferred to the region of the benefits in the budget."
She explained that "among the files that will be discussed with the Minister of Oil are the contracts concluded by the ministry and the referral mechanism to companies, especially in the southern provinces."
