    (Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The US embassy in Baghdad, on Sunday, the United States commitment not to use Iraqi territory to attack neighboring countries.
    This came during an interview with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy, ​​Joy Hood, the Commander of the Federal Police Forces, Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat, in Baghdad. 
    "The US commitment to Iraq is one of the most important strategic partners in the region and the importance of a strong, stable and sovereign Iraqi government," the embassy said in a statement. 
    "The United States was very confident in the determination of the Iraqi security forces to keep people safe," he said. 
    He said Washington would "continue its partnership with Iraqi forces by providing advice, training and equipping it in its efforts to eliminate Saddam as a threat to Iraq." 
    The embassy's charge d'affaires referred to "the US commitment to the Strategic Framework Agreement, including the prohibition of the use of Iraqi territory to attack any other country."
