Washington confirms its commitment to the strategic framework agreement with Iraq
Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi discussed with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo bilateral cooperation in various fields.
A statement by the office of Abadi said Saturday that the prime minister also discussed coordination of efforts to eliminate the remaining presence of an advocate inside Syrian territory near the Iraqi border.
In turn, US Secretary of State renewed his country's support for a strong, stable and prosperous Iraq as in the strategic framework agreement between the two countries.
