Integrity thwarts attempt to seize property belonging to the Ministry of Finance in Kirkuk

The investigations department of the Integrity Commission announced Wednesday that it was able to thwart the attempt to seize a property belonging to the Ministry of Finance.
The department, referring to the investigation carried out under a judicial memorandum, pointed out that "the implementation of the staff of the Office of Investigation Commission in the province of Kirkuk, a process of arrest against suspects who have built housing houses on part of the property belongs to the Ministry of Finance."
She explained that "the area of the property that was exceeded is (88) dunums, estimated at two billion dinars and a half billion."
"The staff of the Office of the Investigation of the province organized a record of the seizure of the assets of the incident, and was accompanied by witnesses to the judge of the Court of Inquiry province, which decided to issue an arrest warrant and investigate the defendant who claims ownership of the property, based on the provisions of resolution (154 for 2011).
