Baghdad Council: The file of land distribution has not yet been opened and this ministry is authorized to issue

Baghdad Governorate Council confirmed on Tuesday that the file of land distribution to citizens has not yet been opened and has not been approached by the government on this subject yet, explaining that the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Municipalities has been authorized to this issue.
"The Baghdad Provincial Council has not yet approached him about the government's initiative to distribute land to citizens, although the issue has been raised for quite a while," provincial council member Jassumah al-Azerjawi said in a statement.
"The government has authorized the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Municipalities to manage the distribution of land and to approach the concerned parties and owners in order to prepare a plan for distribution to citizens," Azerjawi said.
"The majority of the land belongs to the Ministry of Finance in addition to agriculture and the Municipality of Baghdad, and the province of Baghdad, where there are large areas in the areas of parties in the area of unity and Abu Ghraib and Husseiniya Rashidiya can be used and distributed to citizens.
