Iran raises its electricity production to 82,000 MW

[rtl]The executive director of the mother company of the Iranian thermal power company announced that the country's capacity in the field of electricity generation exceeded 82 thousand megawatts.[/rtl]
[rtl]In his speech during the laying of the foundation stone for two gas units (combined cycle) at the station "Martyr Selimi" in the city of Naka in Mazandaran province in northern Iran, Mohsen Terzalb said that "this energy to generate electricity led to no problem in providing electricity to citizens during the summer this year ".[/rtl]
[rtl]"About 67,000 megawatts of power generation in Iran are supplied by thermal power plants," he said.[/rtl]
[rtl]"The rationalization of electricity consumption this year has made us indispensable to the import of electricity from Turkmenistan, through the increase of energy generated at home, of which about 98 were related to thermal plants."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that this year will also start the implementation of two other gas stations in the cities of "Sark Road" and "Mahmoudabad", where the total electricity generated from these stations and gas units in the "Martyr Selimi" 800 MW in 2021 to meet the need of Mazandaran Growing of electricity.[/rtl]
