BAGHDAD: Al-Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc member Sarkot Shams al-Din warned Wednesday demonstrators not to allow gangs to use violence against security forces.
"The use of violence against demonstrators by security forces in Baghdad and other governorates is strongly condemned," Shams al-Din said in a statement received by the Euphrates News. With batons, live bullets and tear gas. "
Shamsuddin called on the demonstrators to "continue peaceful demonstrations to demand their stolen rights," warning them "to allow the gangs engaging to penetrate them and attack the security forces, which generates a vacuum and a security gap."
