    Wednesday, May 14 2014 / Twilight News / The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Regional Government, all that a delegation U.S. diplomat representing the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and its consulate in Arbil, visited the headquarters of the ministry for the purpose of viewing a close eye on economic and financial conditions and the crisis not to send the budget by Baghdad to Arbil. 

     According to a ministry statement reported for "Twilight News", that the U.S. delegation included both an economic advisor at the U.S. embassy in Baghdad Robin Matewman and chief economist at the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil Iron Cosmear, noting that the delegation met with the Deputy Finance Minister of the Kurdistan Rashid Tahir. 

     The statement added that the U.S. delegation put in the start of the meeting, the goal of his visit, which he said was in order to see the economic and financial conditions and the differences between the federal government and the provincial government and of not sending the budget and salaries of employees of the region closely. 

    The statement continued that Tahir that highlighted problems, pointing to a lack of commitment to the Constitution and the Baghdad government to use the budget as a pressure on the province. 

     The statement noted that Taher touched on how to send Baghdad budget province, adding that it did not during all the past years, sending the budget amounting to 17% of the volume Almoisana Iraqi public, but it was based on the pretext deducting expenses of the sovereign and the ruling deduct large portions of them to reach only 11% and this What generates a negative impact on the recovery of the infrastructure of the provincial government. 

     The Kurdistan Regional Government says that Baghdad was cut off funds allocated for the salaries of its employees, which create a crisis in liquidity, which is reflected in the lack of ability to pay salaries, which caused protests and sit-ins to employees of various ministries and official departments. 

     The origin of the dispute to the lack of agreement in Baghdad and Erbil on how to export oil produced in the region to the outside and be included in the general budget for the current year, as it calls for Baghdad, said the Arbil to export 400 000 barrels of oil a day through the Iraqi oil marketing company "Sumo", and the deposit of its revenue at the expense of Development Bank of Iraq in New York, but it Ststqta equivalent to the amount of the region's share in the general budget, which rejects Arbil prepared and subjected to political pressure to Baghdad. 

    Arbil and offered to export 100 000 barrels per day, but this proposal has not been welcomed by Baghdad did not work so far.
