    The
Parliamentary Human Rights Committee said on Monday that it had sent a letter to the Ministry of Defense on the quality of tear gas used to repel the demonstrators, noting that it was directly targeted by liquefied gas guns.
The head of the committee, Arshad al-Salhi, said in a statement to Al-Maaloumeh that "the parliamentary human rights committee opened an investigation of all the events that accompanied the demonstrations and the large number of martyrs to know the circumstances of the events."
"The committee has information about a tear imported from Serbia, which has caused huge numbers of demonstrators to be thrown out and has increased public discontent," Salhi said.
Salhi said that "the Ministry of Defense received an official letter from the Committee on the quality of gases used and already have been importing large quantities of these weapons during the past days."
