The House of Representatives intends to amend several laws in line with the demands of the demonstrators during the coming period.
The MP said, on the authority of the Alliance of Amjad Al-Aqabi, that "the demands of the demonstrators set a path for the House of Representatives to pass laws and correct the path of the political process. Therefore, the election law that was envisaged was tight and satisfactory to all spectra of the Iraqi people in addition to the laws that tighten spoilers and prevent corruption."
Al-Oqabi said, "Some of the bills are pending from the previous electoral sessions until now, and we will continue to work on returning them to the circle of study and discussions, and we will consider their most important controversial points and reformulate them according to the new data that the demonstrators demand."
He continued, "The most important pending laws are the oil and gas law, and we are waiting for the final version of the government to reach the House of Representatives for the purpose of studying and voting on it."
Al-Uqabi added that "the current stage also requires amending the Prisoners’ Institution Law (and where do you get this from?), In addition to many important laws. "Ended 29 / A 43
