Al-Dubai said in a press statement: "The President of the Republic sent an inquiry to the House of Representatives to find out the largest number of parliamentary blocs, in an attempt to prevaricate, as he knew about it well since 2018."
He added: "Barham Salih is trying to bypass the constitutional times in order to take over as prime minister on the pretext that the position of prime minister is empty," noting: "The attempt of the President of the Republic to seize the helm of government in this way is defrauding the constitution and an objectionable by the political circles."
