    The information / Diyala ..
The industry has witnessed an unprecedented recovery locally or "Arab milk" in most cities in Diyala Governorate, especially Baquba, due to the increased demand for purchasing it in support of the national product, which helped provide dozens of job opportunities for families, especially the displaced and poor.
Umm Ibrahim, one of the workers in the manufacture of Arab milk in Baquba, said to “Al-Maalouma”, “Arab milk or what we call it the rupee, the turnout rate was very limited, but in the last time it escalated in a way that led me to increase production by 200%,” stressing that “calls to support the product The National has paid off, and there is an increasing demand for milk. ”
Umm Ibrahim added, "She buys milk from some villages near Baquba and prepares milk, then two of her sons deliver it to the shops and customers, which provided me with a good financial return that helped me spend it on my family of 8 members."
For his part, Jalil Al-Shammari, owner of a dairy shop in Baquba, stressed that "the rate of demand for Arab milk has increased by a large percentage, especially because its prices are good and are characterized by quality, although they are placed in modest plastic mugs, but the level of support is very high."
Al-Shammari added, “He used to sell less than 20 glasses of Arab milk a few months ago, and now what he sells daily reaches 100 and more.” He pointed out that “the Arab milk industry runs in homes with modest tools, and if capacity was available, it would become a production comparable to the importer due to its high quality.”
Adnan Hassan, a local economist, pointed out that "the milk market in Diyala has been dominated by foreign and Arab brands for years, and the lack of local production, pointing out that Arab milk, despite the simplicity of production, which has the hope of women, most of whom are displaced or poor, is comparable to its imported quality in addition to its cheap prices." Noting that "the Arab milk market is expanding, many families started producing because it had a good financial import." Ended / 25
