    The representative of the Parliamentary Bloc, Sattar Al-Jabri, announced today, Saturday, parliamentary moves to collect signatures for the sack of the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, due to his violation of the Iraqi constitution. 

    Al-Jabri said in an interview with local media, "The constitutional violation that occurred at this time is borne by the Presidency and the political blocs."

    He also added, "There is a tendency among some political blocs to collect representative signatures to dismiss the President of the Republic, Barham Saleh, against the background of violating the Iraqi constitution," noting that it is "not the first time that Saleh has deliberately violated the Iraqi constitution."

    In the same context, a political source said, "Political parties have initiated a broad movement aimed at removing the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, through Parliament, after charging him with violating the constitution, given that Article 76 includes that the role of the President is to assign the candidate of the largest number in the Parliament, He has no right to reject this nomination. "

    He pointed out, "The next two days will witness a political movement in this matter between the various political forces, to discuss the isolation of the Iraqi president, and find an alternative agreed upon politically before the isolation, so that the scenario of Adel Abdul Mahdi does not repeat from the point of the constitutional vacuum," hinting that "the minister Finance Fouad Hussein, who was formerly the director of the office of Masoud Barzani, is suitable for the position and had run for office, but political consensus excluded him from the presidency and granted him to Barham Saleh.
