A statement of the bank quoted its president, Faisal Wissam Al-Heims, as referring to the importance of solidarity among all, from governmental institutions, the private sector and individuals during the current period.
He added: Today we initiated a donation of (5) five million dollars to the Ministry of Health to contribute to confronting the Corona virus, and to support and enhance the ministry's efforts to reduce the transmission of the disease, and to help treat cases that have already been diagnosed.
He explained: On our part, we see that our role as a national government institution necessitates making this societal contribution to help the official authorities to face the repercussions of this crisis, which will pass, God willing.
