The European Union Mission in Iraq called for the speedy formation of a new government capable of dealing seriously with the current crises.
In a statement, the mission expressed its solidarity with the Iraqi people in the difficult stage the country is going through as a result of the unprecedented crises, stressing the support of the Federation and the heads of missions for the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq and the importance of Iraq owning the internal and reformed political process of the country.
The mission called on everyone to deal seriously with the crisis in Iraq and the formation of a government capable of urgently addressing challenges in the areas of health, security, politics, economics and human rights, in particular the crisis of the spread of the Corona epidemic in Iraq.
