confirmed on Saturday, the deputy of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc, the continuing differences between the political parties on some ministries in the government of Mustafa al-Kazemi.
MP Taha Hama Amin said, according to his party’s media, that "the differences between the political parties over some ministries in Mustafa Al-Kazemi's government are still continuing."
He added, "There are parties that object to the repetition of some of the names that held ministerial positions in the government of Abdul-Mahdi, and there are differences over the candidates for a number of ministries, such as defense, oil and other ministries."
He pointed out that, "Al-Kazemi may present his cabinet formation to the House of Representatives this week without specifying the candidates for the disputed ministries, and he will administer those ministries by proxy until the political parties agree on the candidates as happened at the beginning of the formation of the previous government."
