The Turkmen Front announced that it had not received an official response from the person in charge of forming the government, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, regarding the allocation of a ministry to the Turkmen component.
"We are in continuous contact with the person in charge of issues related to the proposed government from various aspects, as well as our representation in it," the group's deputy head, Hassan Turan, said in a press statement.
He added: "We have not received a clear official response from him regarding the allocation of a ministry to the Turkmen component."
"We support the formation of the government and see it as absolutely necessary in the circumstances the country is going through," Turan said, explaining: "The front's final position on participating in the vote or not will be determined after seeing the cab in its final form."
