Kurdish women MP: representation of women in the new government is less than 1%

A member of the Kurdistan National Union bloc ruled out a woman obtaining a portfolio in the remaining ministries in Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s government, while noting: “The woman’s voice is absent in the government.”
Representative Rizan Sheikh Dalir said in a press statement: "The [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/146151/%D8%AA%D9%85%D8%AB%D9%8A%D9%84 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%B1%D8%A3%D8%A9]representation of women[/url] in the Al-Kazemi government is less than 1%," explaining: "The percentage does not rise to the aspiration of women in a big country like Iraq for women that has a major role in facing challenges and difficulties.
