Documents issued by the office of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi showed decisions assigning a number of ministers to the agency's vacant portfolios until nominating candidates.
According to the documents issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Nass received a copy of it, (May 12, 2020). It was decided that the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, would assume the authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and assign the Ministry’s Senior Undersecretary the functions and powers of the Minister.
The Minister of Sports, Adnan Darjal, takes over the functions of the Ministry of Culture as an agency, and the Minister of Transport Nasser Hassan takes over the functions of the Ministry of Immigration, and the Minister of Higher Education Nabil Kazim takes over the functions of the Ministry of Justice as the agency.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance, Ali Haider Abdul Amir, will assume the authority of the Ministry of Oil, and the Minister of Education Ali Hamid, the successor to the Ministry of Commerce, will take over.
