The co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Lahore Sheikh Genki, said on Saturday (March 20, 2021) that his party had “pressured” to pass the budget law in a manner that “serves the interests of the people of Kurdistan.”
"During the last period, we exerted strong pressure with the Shiite and Sunni parties to pass the 2021 budget law in a way that serves the interests of the people of Kurdistan," Genki said in a statement reviewed by IQ News
In his statement, Genki added, "We have decided (that) we will not submit to any options other than an agreement for the sake of the interests of the people of Kurdistan."
