    Baghdad - IQ
The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Siham Al-Mousawi, said, Monday (March 29, 2021) that the rise in the exchange rate of the dollar had affected the "poor citizen" and not the merchants.
Mousawi told  IQ FM , "The Parliamentary Finance Committee's theory regarding the exchange rate of the dollar is a stabilization of the economic and financial situation."
She added that "the high exchange rates of the dollar resulted in an increase in food, clothing and food," noting that "the effect of this on the poor citizen and not the merchants," she asked, "Who can compensate the poor citizen?"
Representatives from the Al-Fateh Alliance informed the presidency of the parliament, yesterday evening, that they refused to enter the session to vote on the budget in the event that the price of the dollar was not reduced within the provisions of the budget, which led, according to parliamentary sources, to postpone its holding until further notice.
