The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, today, Tuesday, directed the committee to develop the entrances to the capital, Baghdad, to hold a consultative meeting to coordinate efforts between the relevant authorities, to proceed with the implementation of the project to develop the entrances to the capital.

The statement stated that "the committee reviewed the position of implementing the recommendations issued in the previous meeting, most notably related to the maintenance, installation and delivery of electrical current to the entrance to (Baghdad - Kut), and the on-site inspection on the road located in the Al-Khadra neighborhood, removing the electrical network located in it, while reviewing the issue of the fourth ring road and obstacles Accomplishing it, and affirming the Ministry of Transport’s commitment to the directives to stop contracting the commercial exchange yards at the entrances to Baghdad until the aforementioned main committee completes its work.
It should be noted that the Council of Ministers approved in 2019 the development of the entrances to the capital, Baghdad, and decided last March to form a committee in this regard, due to the importance of showing the civilized face of the capital, Baghdad.
