The head of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, stressed, on Tuesday, the difficulty of holding elections at the current stage, while calling for boycotting or postponing them.

Allawi said in his blog post, "People" (May 26, 2021), "Since setting the so-called (early elections date), we have emphasized the difficulty of holding them before providing a suitable electoral environment, and what happened and is happening daily in terms of assassinations, repression and intimidation confirms the validity of what we went to."
He added, "Today we are faced with two options, either to delay or boycott unless there is an appropriate atmosphere that achieves acceptability in its integrity."

On Wednesday, the High Commission for Human Rights announced the outcome of field monitoring of the May 25 demonstrations in the capital, Baghdad, indicating that two demonstrators were killed and 150 protesters and security forces were wounded.

A commission statement, which "people" received a copy of (May 26, 2021), stated that "while the High Commission for Human Rights in Iraq affirms ensuring the citizen's right to opinion, expression and peaceful demonstration, it deeply regrets the fall of martyrs and wounded protesters and forces." The security forces resulted from clashes that occurred in Tahrir Square in Baghdad, which led to the death of (2) demonstrators and wounding (20) others. "
He pointed out that "many of them are still seriously injured so far, and (130) security forces were injured and a large number of demonstrators were arrested. They were released, and the remaining (11) demonstrators were arrested, whose papers were presented to the judiciary with the burning of (2) caravans belonging to the police force as a result of the use of Live bullets and tear gas from the security forces, and stones and sharp tools by the demonstrators. "
He added, "The commission, from the start of the demonstrations until this moment, has been calling for the prevention of the use of excessive violence, and law-keeping forces and the security forces supporting them have been subject to more than (500) training workshops on how to deal with and protect demonstrators, and at a time when it affirms that the demonstrators fully adhere to the standards of peaceful protest." And to stay away from any clashes with the security forces, as it renews its call on all parties to take utmost restraint and preserve the peaceful demonstrations. "
The Commission called on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to "assume responsibility and take the most serious measures against those who used live bullets and excessive violence, refer them to the judiciary, and release all those detained in connection with the demonstrations."
It called on the demonstrators to "prevent those who want to divert the demonstrations from their peaceful course and to continue their exercise of this right by cooperating with the security forces and preserving public and private property."

Deputy Adnan Al-Zorfi commented, on Wednesday, the violent events that accompanied yesterday's protests in Tahrir Square, stressing that "the cry of those who killed me" will end with " This is who killed you," referring to the parliament session to question security leaders.
Al-Zorfi said in a post, followed by "People," (May 26, 2021), that "the vain suppression of the demonstrators in Tahrir Square and the survival of the masked killer playing in the shadows and expelling the blood of Iraqis doubles our responsibility to support the national values adopted by Tishreen. ( Who killed me) A deep cry of truth emanated from the saints of blood and reached Parliament, and it will begin to question the security leaders and end with ( This is the one who killed you) . "

The United Nations Mission in Iraq "UNAMI", on Tuesday, promised "accountability" as the way to stop the pattern of "deadly attacks" that target activists and civilians.
In a brief statement, "Nas" received a copy (May 25, 2021), the mission stated, "Only accountability will stop the pattern of deadly attacks targeting civil and political activists, while the perpetrators may think that they silence the voices, they have only made it higher." .
"Accountability is the key to the stability of Iraq. It is the right of the Iraqi people to know," the statement added.

On Tuesday, the High Commission for Human Rights called for preparing a draft law and sending it to Parliament quickly to establish a special court to try those involved in the killing of demonstrators.
"The Iraqi government or the Presidency of the Republic is required to prepare a draft law and send it to Parliament quickly to establish a special court to try those involved in the murders of protesters to send positive messages to the demonstrators and to put an end to it," said a member of the commission. To escape punishment and to respond to the demands of the demonstrators quickly. "

On Tuesday, the Commission for Human Rights revealed that at least one demonstrator was killed during the Tahrir Square demonstrations in central Baghdad.
A member of the commission, Ali Al-Bayati, said in a brief post, which "people" saw (May 25, 2021), that "preliminary information about the killing of a protester, wounding others and setting security cars on fire in Tahrir Square."

And Iraqi volunteers abroad organized a stand in the Belgian capital, Brussels, to support the May 25 demonstration demanding the detection of the killers of the demonstrators and those involved in the assassinations in Iraq.
Activist Ahmed Karim delivered a speech on the Iraqi community in Belgium in front of the Baghdad embassy building, which focused on calling for an end to impunity for assassinations and the killing of protesters, as well as harsh criticism of the United Nations Mission in Iraq "UNAMI".
The speech called for "monitoring the mission's work in Iraq more carefully, or changing its staff working in Iraq with more efficient and more realistic personnel."

The volunteers delivered the text of the speech in Dutch (the mother tongue of the UN envoy in Baghdad, Jenin Plasschaert) and provided the media with two Arabic and English versions.

Text of the word in Arabic:
Today is an important day in defining the future of the Iraqi people and a focal point in their protests that began more than 10 years ago and culminated in 2019 against a repressive and corrupt regime.
The regime in Iraq has continued a series of killings and kidnappings against peaceful protesters since 2019.
Our protest today is an expression of anger at the political community in Iraq and its crimes against Iraqi youth who demand a homeland to live in peace, and an expression of our refusal to recognize this corrupt political community.

The briefings provided by the United Nations Mission in Iraq headed by Jenin Plasschaert are far from reality and what is happening inside the protest squares. Consequently, we demand that the work and progress of the mission in Iraq be monitored more carefully, or that the mission's staff be replaced by more efficient and realistic personnel.

Iraqis have watched closely the appalling silence or vague condemnations the international community has shown in the past.
Therefore, we invite you once again to stand by our just cause in order to achieve peace.
Finally, we will no longer tolerate any impunity for this repressive and corrupt regime, and we will not accept poor condemnations and denunciations anymore. "

The organizations of the Iraqi diaspora have determined the locations and dates of the stops in support of the May 25 demonstration demanding the detection of the killers of the demonstrators and the parties involved in the assassinations.
The Coordinating Committee member, Ahmed Karim, provided "people" with a list of the dates and locations of the endowments in 9 countries, as follows:
