    Today, Wednesday, the Federal Commission of Integrity announced that it thwarted an attempt to bypass and seize property belonging to the state, with the complicity of some of the affiliates of the authorities concerned with removing the abuse in the Kirkuk governorate, pointing to the arrest of the accused in flagrante delicto.
    A statement by the Investigation Department of the Authority, received by the "National News Center", stated that "the work team of the Kirkuk investigation office of the authority managed to thwart an attempt to bypass and seize property belonging to the Kirkuk Municipal Directorate and to arrest three suspects in flagrante delicto by constructing a fuel filling station in contravention of the law." .
    The statement added, "The preliminary investigations led to the accused having committed this act in collusion with some of the employees of the authorities concerned with removing the abuse, and after the on-site inspection of the property, it was noticed that there was construction work for an integrated fuel filling station with a completion rate of (75%)," pointing to Stopping work and arresting trespassers on the property whose estimated value reaches (1,000,000,000) billion dinars.
    He continued: “In a separate operation, the work team was able to arrest an employee of the Kirkuk Customs Department in the act of receiving the bribe. A meeting to bring books validating the issuance of a public declaration belonging to a citizen from the Sulaymaniyah Department.
    He stressed, “fundamentalist arrest warrants were organized in the two operations that were carried out according to two judicial warrants, and they were presented with the accused to the judge of the Kirkuk investigation court specialized in examining integrity issues, who decided to arrest the accused in the second operation in accordance with the provisions of Article 307 of the Penal Code.”
