The governorate of Baghdad confirmed, on Saturday, its commitment to pay the salaries of employees.
The governorate said in a statement, seen by "Al-Eqtisad News", that it "issued an explanation regarding its legal measures taken regarding the implementation of Resolution 315 regarding daily wages in its departments," noting that "Baghdad Governor Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta will meet with the Minister of Finance to raise the issue of financial allocations." Necessary to create a mechanism for financing the salaries of Master Card holders, especially since it and the departments associated with it are obligated to pay the financial wages of the wage employees.
The statement added that "the governorate of Baghdad operates according to the law, and has no authority to cancel the decision, as it is promoted by some social media platforms."
