Federal Integrity announced, on Monday, the launch of the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy for the years (2021-2024).
A statement by the authority, a copy of which was received by Mawazine News, stated that "the Federal Integrity Commission launched today the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy for the years (2021-2024), which was previously approved by the Council of Ministers under Resolution No. (181) on 6/6. /2021".
The statement added, "This strategy is one of the requirements of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which Iraq joined in the year 2007, and it is an advanced step in this field, as it entrusts tasks and duties entrusted to all state institutions and sectors, and then committees measure the level of commitment of those institutions." And he stated: "The strategy provides wide opportunities for cooperation between the regulatory agencies, the three authorities, and various state institutions and sectors, with a focus on activating the participation in the process of diagnosing corruption phenomena and developing alternatives and treatments, as well as providing wide opportunities for training and developing the cadres of those institutions and sectors affiliated with the strategy in cooperation with international bodies.
