On Monday (August 23, 2021), the government departments of Al-Diwaniyah Governorate complained about the banks in the governorate due to their delay in disbursing the salaries and advances of employees, stressing that they have taken legal measures against those banks.
The Director-General of Diwaniyah Education, Aqeel Al-Jubouri, said, in a statement to  IQ News , that "the complaints we received from employees and teaching staff are many, regarding the delay in the payment of salaries, as well as their failure to receive the advances of employees, specifically in the Agricultural Bank," continuing, "We have taken steps in this direction." ".
Al-Jubouri stated that “there is a contract concluded between us and these banks and it includes terms and understandings, and in view of the breach by these banks, especially the Agricultural Bank, with these terms, we issued an official letter a final warning to this bank and it will follow in the event of non-compliance to terminate the contract.”
For his part, Director General of Diwaniyah Health Yahya Faleh said, in a statement to  IQ News , that "we receive complaints from employees about the lack of commitment of the Agricultural and Rasheed Bank to pay the employees' salaries on time, as well as the non-disbursement of the prescribed advances."
