    {Local: Al Furat News} Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz, laid the foundation stone for the establishment, rehabilitation and operation of seven glass and ceramic factories in Anbar Governorate.
    The ministry stated in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that “the investment contract was concluded between the General Company for Glass and Refractories in the Ramadi district in Anbar Governorate and the Federation of Russian Companies,” noting that “the contract includes the glass panels factory with a capacity of (120) tons / day and the bottle factory.” Medical capacity (95) tons / day, bottles and jars factory with a capacity of (175) tons / day, flat glass factory with a capacity of (700) tons / day, and casing factory with a capacity of (6000) square meters / day and floor covering factory with a capacity of (12,000) square meters / day And a sanitary ware factory with a capacity of (5000) tons/year.” 
    In a speech delivered during the celebration held on this occasion, the minister said: "Today we are among our family and loved ones in Anbar Governorate, which has suffered during a long period of marginalization, damage and occupation by ISIS terrorist gangs." Ramadi city,” noting that “the reconstruction and construction of a group of factories for the production of all types of glass and ceramics will be a step towards a promising future for the governorate.”
    He continued, "The presence of foreign companies is the best evidence that Iraq has begun to stabilize, and that the Iraqi government is serious about attracting companies and capital in order to revive the Iraqi industry." 
    He went on to say, "This achievement is part of a process we have taken upon us to revive the stalled and destroyed factories," expressing his hope that "this great project will be a good and loving beginning for all the provinces of Iraq," wishing Iraq more victories, pride and progress, and that the Iraqis would remain proud and held high. To bring back to life the meaning of life. 
    The Minister also pointed out during a press conference that "this project is the first activity of the Russian Federation, with an investment volume of (300) million dollars, which confirms the desire of the Russian government to enter the local market and support the Iraqi industry," noting that "the project will contribute to the employment of manpower and the provision of Direct and indirect job opportunities are around (1900), and it will be a catalyst for the development of the city of Ramadi and the activation of the industrial sector in it,” explaining “at the same time that this project is one of the projects planned in Anbar Governorate.”
    He stressed, "The ministry is continuing to restore life to all factories and factories throughout Iraq, congratulating the people of Anbar and Ramadi and the company on this great achievement, and wishing that the industry would return as it was worthy of Iraq." 
    For his part, the representative of the Russian companies expressed the Russian companies' welcome and their earnest desire to implement the reconstruction and construction project of seven glass and ceramic factories, which will be according to the latest and highest international technology.
    The Minister, accompanied by all the attendees, conducted a field tour of the company's laboratories and was briefed on the extent of the destruction and damage it was subjected to. He also visited the Technology Incubator branch of the Industrial Research and Development Authority at the company's site.
    The foundation stone laying ceremony and the special celebration were attended by the Deputy Governor of Anbar, the Ramadi Police Commander, the Qaimqam of Ramadi District, the general managers of a number of departments and formations of the ministry, representatives from the Russian Companies Federation, the Russian Embassy, ​​and a large gathering of officials, representatives of Anbar governorate departments, security leaders and employees.
