Baghdad - Mawazine News
The Federal Court announced, on Wednesday, approval of 6 contested paragraphs in favor of the government, while 4 paragraphs were rejected.
And the official agency stated, "The Federal Court agreed to the government's appeal to release the hand of the Minister of Finance by agreeing to add financial allocations to compensate employees' salaries, contracts and wages, as stated in Article 50 / A."
She added, "The court also approved the government's appeal to refuse to impose 15% taxes on fuel, as well as the government's appeal regarding the costs of oil licensing rounds."
And on the refusal of the Financial Committee's control over the distribution of projects in the province, the agency confirmed that "the Federal Court agreed to the government's appeal on this issue."
And she added, "The Federal Court agreed to the government's challenge to reject the establishment of petrodollar funds by the provinces and consider it an exclusive authority of the federal government, while it rejected the government's appeal regarding the unconstitutionality of raising the prices of wheat and barley and considers it constitutional and within the powers of the House of Representatives."
