{Local: Al Furat News} The Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, met on Thursday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the sidelines of his participation in the third afforestation activity "Breathe the Future", at the official invitation of his Turkish counterpart.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture issued today, Friday, Al-Khafaji conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
The statement added that "Erdogan welcomed the minister and praised the Iraqi-Turkish relations and thanked him for accepting the invitation to attend this important event."
The Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, arrived yesterday, Thursday, in Ankara, and met the Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Bakr Pakdemirli.
