    The Integrity Commission revealed an official statistic of the number of state properties exploited by parties, entities and individuals.
    The official agency quoted the Director-General of the Investigations Department at the authority, Karim Al-Ghazi, and "Ultra Iraq" continued, "The issue of state real estate is one of the important topics that the commission has worked on and has devoted a large area to it in its field of work, as it took the initiative to form a team to take care of the inventory of the returned properties. The state, real estate allocated and exploited by officials in an official capacity, and those seized by parties, associations or individuals.
    He pointed out that "the total number of properties that were violated in Baghdad and the provinces, except for the Kurdistan region, reached (31378), and Nineveh Governorate was the highest, as the number of properties that were violated reached (8585) properties, followed by Basra with (6194), then Kirkuk (3653 real estate).
    Regarding the procedures, the authority is in the process of recovering these real estate, he stated that “the authority worked under the direct guidance of the authority’s presidency, represented by Judge Alaa Jawad Al-Saadi, to give the issue of state real estate the importance it deserves, and a program was prepared that included (property number and address, governorate, property ownership, property type, Survey, bypassed party, estimated value, actions taken against the bypassed party), and this program was circulated to the commission’s investigation directorates and offices in Baghdad and the governorates, for approval by them, filling in its fields, and sending it back to the Investigations Department.
    With regard to the number of completed properties, including properties (recovered, allocated or obtained by the same wage), he indicated that “861 properties have been completed, and the largest percentage of them was in Diyala Governorate (426) properties, followed by Baghdad and Dhi Qar with (124) and (98) properties, respectively, while the number of properties for which measures were taken reached (14,928).
    He explained that "the real estate belonging to the state that has been violated in Baghdad and the governorates is classified into (buildings, agricultural land, parking lots, shops, homes and apartments, sidewalks and public streets, schools, public squares and parks."
    The Director General of the Investigations Department concluded his speech by “emphasizing that the commission will continue to follow up on this file and work to take appropriate measures that contribute to the completion of its work in this field,” noting that “the team’s actions limited the total number of properties that were violated in each governorate, except for the Kurdistan region, indicating Real estate in respect of which measures have been taken, and which have been recovered, in addition to real estate in respect of which no action has been taken.
