The leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, stressed, on Thursday, the speedy formation of a consensus government capable of meeting the requirements of the Iraqi people with services and job opportunities.
Al-Maliki's media office said in a statement today (December 2, 2021), that "the latter chaired an expanded meeting today for the State of Law coalition bloc , during which the developments in the political and security situation were discussed and discussed, as well as the repercussions of questioning the results of the elections."
Al-Maliki stressed, according to the statement, "the importance of uniting efforts and communicating with the rest of the political forces within Parliament in order to overcome the current crises."
He stressed "the necessity of addressing the repercussions of the election results crisis in accordance with legal frameworks, fairness to the objectors, and expediting the formation of a consensual government capable of meeting the Iraqi people's requirements for services and job opportunities."
Al-Maliki called, "the coalition deputies to work hard, adhere to national constants, communicate with the masses, and submit proposals for laws that support the Iraqis' needs for services."
He explained, "Iraq and its people deserve to work and sacrifice for progress and prosperity."
