{Economic: Al Furat News} Minister of Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, announced the date of distributing the first food basket in 2022.
Al-Jubouri said in a press statement that the distribution of the first food basket in 2022 "will be on the first of next January," that is, on the New Year's Day.
He added, "There is flexibility to change some items of the food basket according to what is allocated to it in the general budget."
Al-Jubouri indicated that "there is continuous coordination between the ministries of commerce and finance regarding the disbursement of funds allocated to the food basket, which was launched since November of this year."
