Shafaq News / The Director General of Ur Electrical Industries Company in Dhi Qar Governorate, Haidar Sahar, revealed on Saturday that the company's first export operation failed, due to the Ministry of Commerce.
Sahar told Shafaq News Agency, "Ur Company previously announced the imminent export of its first products to Syria, but in fact the product was manufactured 6 months ago and is in the company's warehouses, because the Ministry of Commerce does not allow it to be exported."
He added that "the export agreement with the Syrian company was 25 tons of aluminum profiles manufactured inside the company in the first meal, after which a thousand tons will be sent as a second contract with the company."
Sahar explained, "The Syrian side paid the amount of the first installment of the contract several months ago, and in hard currency, and is currently trying to get the materials out through the Kurdistan Region, due to the lack of complicated procedures in the export process to them, while retracting from signing a contract to import a thousand tons. of aluminum profiles.
He pointed out that "the argument of the Ministry of Commerce not to allow the export of these clips is that they are raw materials, and the Council of Ministers prevents the export of these materials," noting that "this matter is absolutely not true, as the company is specialized in the manufacture of these materials whose basis is aluminum."
