{Local: Al Furat News} The Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence in Karbala announced, on Sunday, the deportation of more than three thousand foreign arrivals of various nationalities for violating the conditions of residence in Iraq.
The Directorate said in a statement received by {Al-Furat News}, that it had "deported and deported 3,241 foreigners of various nationalities, outside Iraqi territory, for violating the terms of the Iraqi Foreigners Residence Law No. 76 of 2017, during the period from January 2, 2021 to December 26, 2021."
She noted that "these measures contribute to creating job opportunities for our youth and investing their energies to build Iraq, and we also stress not to harbor foreigners who violate the law and to immediately report their whereabouts to serve the public interest."
