Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Justice announced the issuance of the dismissal penalty against 8 employees, including correctional guards, during the current year, for committing mistakes and violating the employment law.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Minister of Justice, Judge Salar Abdul Sattar Muhammad, issued a number of decisions to remove from the job against employees and correctional guards, whose number reached 8 during 2022, while the decision to isolate 14 employees came during the year 2020, and the number of employees reached The decisions to dismiss during the year 2021 (30) employees and guards for committing mistakes and violating the employment law.”
He added that "the application of the text of the law against trespassers and abusers of the public office would contribute to putting the citizen's interest in the right place, raising the level of service and reducing the phenomenon of abuse and waste of public money."
