Today, Saturday, Minister of Commerce Alaa Ahmed Al-Jubouri announced the start of the marketing season for the 2022 wheat crop, after a number of trucks arrived at the Samawah Center in Al-Muthanna Governorate.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the ministry stated, "The Minister of Commerce, Alaa Ahmed Al-Jubouri, announced the start of the marketing season for the 2022 wheat crop, after a number of trucks arrived at the Samawah Center in Al-Muthanna Governorate, and these quantities are the first for the 2022 marketing season, and in preparation for To start marketing operations in other southern governorates.
He added, "The first quantities received from farmers in the governorate, a laboratory test was carried out and conformed to the standard specifications under the supervision of the regulatory cadres, which is a message that sends good and success for the current marketing season."
He pointed out, "The Ministry of Trade announced a number of administrative and technical measures for the purpose of receiving the marketing season, preparing examination and marketing centers, in coordination with the security services, and mobilizing technical and administrative staff in the governorates, in preparation for the marketing season in order to achieve success and overcome the difficulties that occur."
The statement stressed, "All owners will continue to work around the clock for the purpose of receiving the quantities received from wheat to the marketing centers," calling for "reporting any violations that occur during the marketing season or transgressing the instructions and controls prepared by the Ministry of Commerce for the success of the marketing season."
He pointed out that "the spread of supervisory teams to audit the processes of receiving and conducting laboratory examinations, in coordination with the security services, for the purpose of monitoring violations and taking legal measures against violators in a way that preserves public money and contributes to the success of the marketing season."
