    Baghdad / Al-Mawrid News
Today, Monday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi stressed, during his participation in the breakfast table with the staff of the Dora Refinery in Baghdad, and his tour of the Central Oil Refineries Company and its facilities, the necessity of working on alternatives to oil so that this wealth would protect the future of Iraq.
Al-Kazemi said, according to a statement by his media office: "I am happy to be among you and with you, to confirm that we are proceeding with building the state and building its institutions. We are all responsible for building the state, and we are all concerned, no matter how small the limits of tasks and responsibility."
He added, "We attach the utmost importance to the citizen to live a decent life, despite all circumstances and challenges, and the government is making great efforts to provide the best services to citizens. We work day and night non-stop in order to secure electrical supplies during the summer."
Al-Kazemi continued, "We must work on alternatives to oil, and this wealth should remain to protect our children and grandchildren and the future of Iraq. We must work together to build Iraq, and bear responsibility."
"Now we are going through transitional and post-election conditions, as well as the repercussions of the situation in Russia and Ukraine on the economy and the standard of living for all countries of the world, but we have taken bold decisions in the Council of Ministers to protect citizens," he noted.
The Prime Minister said, "We presented the draft food security law, and we must all cooperate as government and parliamentarians, and bear the responsibility for passing this law, in order to continue to cover the state's expenses."
He noted that "we have a financial surplus, but we need a budget and its law. The food security law will provide for the daily management of the state's affairs, as well as electricity, services, health, education and food resources that the Iraqi citizen needs."
He continued: "The blessing of the young energies of engineers and other cadres. We always dream and live in the hope that Iraq will be better and better, and just as our ancestors built the history of civilization, I am sure that we can see Iraq in its best condition."
He added, "The international crises have affected all the economies of the world without exception, and here we repeat our call to Parliament, and we stress the need to pass the emergency law for food security. We are working to protect the citizen, and Parliament must cooperate with us in this regard."
He stressed, "We should not be disappointed by some of the shortcomings of this political experience. We chose the democratic system and we have no choice but it, and this system may go through some problems, and we are the children of this foundation, and we bear the responsibility; for the future, and for the sake of our children, We must be optimistic and work together to serve our people.”
He concluded: "I wish you continued success, Ramadan Kareem to your families, and greetings to your efforts, you are the heroes of Iraq, and with you we build the country."
