The representative of the coordination framework, Mahmoud Al-Salami, confirmed that some deputies adopted the step of challenging the emergency support law before the Federal Court in order to stop the implementation of such a project that has a large financial burden.
Al-Salami told Al-Maalouma, "There is a group of brothers within the coordinating framework and those who reject the law of emergency support for food security will work to file an appeal with the Federal Court against this law in order to stop it."
He added that "the aforementioned law has certain goals behind it, as it will cost the state large sums of more than 35 trillion dinars, a matter rejected by the Shiite Coordinating Framework's representatives."
