The representative of Basra Governorate, Rafiq Al-Salihi, confirmed, on Thursday, that the province’s money and oil revenues go to the regional government, criticizing the Parliamentary Finance Committee for its unfairness in terms of the financial allocations granted to it, compared to the revenues it provides.

Al-Salihi said in an interview with the "Information" agency, "The Finance Committee decided that the surplus from Basra oil revenues would support food security," noting that "this law put the funds of Basra and the southern provinces for distribution to the region and the western provinces."
He added, "Leaving the region's oil revenues and not including them in the Food Security Law suggests that there is collusion between the Baghdad and Erbil governments, and the money is supposed to be taken from the revenues of all the provinces to be divided equally."
And he indicated that "the Federal Court earlier asked the regional government to hand over oil and gas revenues, despite its failure to abide by the court's decision, as it came today to seize the money of the Food Security Law, and therefore this matter is shameful and shameful for the central government."
And the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Mahdi Taqi, had confirmed in an interview with “The Information” that “the amounts granted by the Al-Kazemi government to the region are obtained by the Kurdish leaders, without reaching the citizen, at a time when these leaders continue to reject the decisions of the judiciary and their failure to adhere to the constitutional texts.” “. finished / 25 and
