A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Muhammad Al-Rumaithi, said on Friday that the Ministry of Interior intends to harm the citizen in the procedures for granting a passport.
Al-Rumaithi said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that the Ministry of Interior, by adopting the condition of the deed in the payment of the fees for issuing the passport, harms the citizen and is an unjustified routine.
And he indicated that the Passports Directorate must abide by the laws and not strive at the expense of the citizen, especially since Article 8 of the Passports Law No. (32 of 2015) did not stipulate that!
He added, the "unjustified" red tape and delay followed by the Ministry of Interior, especially since there are many complaints about suspected corruption and coordination between kiosks at the gates of directorates that deal with sukuk in the black markets. Ended 29/R77
