, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, affirmed, today, Sunday, that the attacks on Sinjar are condemned, and the tensions that threaten the security of the Yazidis must be stopped, and work to organize the administration according to the will of its people.
And the media of the Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad a delegation from the people of Sinjar, in the presence of the head of the National Security Apparatus, Hamid Al-Shatri, to discuss developments in the security, service and humanitarian conditions in the city and the obstacles facing its people." .
The statement added, "The attacks on Sinjar are condemned and rejected, and that the security tensions within the city that threaten the security and stability of the Yazidis are unacceptable, and we must work through the authorities of the federal government and the region to coordinate seriously to end these issues."
He stressed, "the necessity of overcoming the political and administrative obstacles that impede the justice of the Yazidis, and working to reconstruct the city and organize the administration in Sinjar based on the will of its people, and to keep it away from political conflicts."
And he indicated that "the members of the delegation extended their thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic, for his efforts and efforts in supporting the Yazidis, establishing security and stability in Sinjar, and defending the rights of the victims and redressing their families."
