Commanders of the joint operations hold "important" talks with the Peshmerga in Erbil
Shafaq News/ The Joint Operations Command announced on Wednesday the arrival of Chief of Operations Staff Lieutenant-General Hamid Abdel Maksoud to Erbil.
A statement by the leadership said that the visit comes to hold talks, which he described as important, with the Chief of Staff of the Peshmerga, Lieutenant-General Issa Uzair, to discuss the security situation in areas of common interest and to follow up on intelligence and security information.
He added that the commander of the ground forces and a number of military leaders are participating in the meeting.
