    Friday sermon, Mahmoud Al-Jiashi, delivered a speech today, Friday, by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, in which he called for several things, including the removal of foreign forces, and the accountability of the corrupt.


    Al-Sadr said in his speech, which was followed by Alsumaria News: "I take advantage of your presence, faithful believers in your religion, belief and Iraq, to ​​send this message to those who are concerned."

    He added: "We are at a difficult and rugged crossroads, during the formation of the government by some who we do not think well of. We have tried them before, and they did not succeed. I advise them if they want to form a government, then they should, before that, commit to removing the rest of the foreign forces through diplomatic and parliamentary means."






    He pointed out that "the first steps of repentance are to hold the corrupt publicly accountable," calling on "the political blocs, especially the Shiites, to repent to God and hold their corrupt accountable."

    Al-Sadr continued, "The Marja'iya has closed its door to all politicians without exception, and this is an insult to Shiite politicians in particular."

    He stressed the impossibility of "forming a strong Iraqi government with unrestrained weapons and unruly militias."

    He continued: "In my name and the name of the crowd, we thank the people of the liberated areas, and without their cooperation, their lands would not have been liberated, and the crowd must be reorganized from the undisciplined elements."


    Al-Sadr called for "removing the crowd from foreign interference, not engaging them in sectarian wars, and keeping them away from politics and trade."

    Al-Sadr stressed the need to "take care of the people of the liberated areas, and keep militias and corrupt merchants away from them."

    He continued, "Do not return the experimenter to power, and the old tragedy will be repeated, such as the tragedy of Speicher, Saqlawiya, and others."
