, KDP spokesman Mahdi Al-Faili revealed, on Thursday, the details of a political initiative backed by the party's leader, Massoud Barzani.
Al-Faili told "Mawazine News", "The party will attend the second meeting of the political parties called by Al-Kazemi, and the Democratic Party has adopted an initiative supported by (party leader Massoud) Barzani."
He explained, "The initiative will lead to the formation of a committee to present the outcome of those meetings," adding that "those proposals will be carried and submitted to Al-Sadr, and will include many steps called for by Al-Sadr, foremost of which is the establishment of elections and the dissolution of Parliament."
