    Alsumaria News - Baghdad

, Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the ministry will conduct a comprehensive review of all contracts concluded during the time of the previous government.

In a statement received by Alsumaria News, Al-Saadawi said, "We will conduct a comprehensive review of the contracts that were concluded, as well as of the decisions taken, and scrutinize the money spent during the time of the previous government, especially with regard to the great port of Faw."

Yesterday, the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, confirmed that the budget will include financial allocations for the Faw port.

A statement by the Ministry of Transport received by Alsumaria News stated, "The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, inspected the great port of Al-Faw and was briefed on the size of the projects implemented in it."

Al-Saadawi said, according to the statement, "We noticed the huge size of the port's works, which we thank the cadres and companies executing the project for," stressing that "the completion rates exceed what was planned, and that work on the projects is excellent."

He explained, "The Al-Faw port is a strategic project that enjoys the follow-up of the Prime Minister, and that the budget will include financial allocations for it, and we are determined to complete it," noting that "the issue of contracting with new companies is left to the Ministry and the Council of Ministers."
