Today, Tuesday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the issuance of two recruitment orders against two members of the House of Representatives. For deliberately committing a violation of the duties of the position, and disposing of the salaries of a personal protection member.
In a statement, the Commission’s Investigation Department stated, “The judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, decided to bring in the former governor of Nineveh, a “current member of parliament,” against the background of a leaked video posted on social media, in which the aforementioned governor appears taking an oath to serve a political alliance in Nineveh.” .
The department added, "The aforementioned court decided to bring him in in accordance with the provisions of Article (331) of the Penal Code, and to approach the House of Representatives - the Legal Committee to conduct an administrative investigation."
The department stated that "the second Karkh Investigation Court issued an order to bring in a former member of Parliament, regarding the issue of his receiving the salaries and allowances of one of his personal protection members," noting that "the court issued the order against the former deputy based on the provisions of Article (453) of the Penal Code, for his use of money." movable owned by another person with ill intent.
