A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, considered that the allocations of tranches will remain just “ink on paper” unless they are included in the financial budget law.
Cougar said, "He mentioned all those whose financial allocations were included in the previous operational budgets, and they will remain continuous in the upcoming budgets without being affected, including those added within the Emergency Support for Food Security and Development Law, as well as their contracts terminated and other contract employees."
"As for those whose dues were not included, the government must include them in the 2023 budget. Otherwise, their allocations will remain ink on paper, and there is no disbursement for them," Cougar added, in an interview with "Euphrates News", followed by "Al-Iqtisad News".
