Today, Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron renewed France's commitment to supporting the security and sovereignty of Iraq.

Macron said in his speech during the second Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman: "The participating countries in the conference all seek to establish security and stability in Iraq and in the region," stressing "everyone's commitment to balanced relations with Iraq."

He added, "If we want to ensure the stability of Iraq, we have to solve problems with its neighbors," noting that "this region has everything that makes it have an agenda that makes it participate in international decisions."
